From 2009 through 2012, we wrote a blog for Sesame Street called “Sesame Family Robinson.” It followed our lives as parents of children the target age of Sesame Street while also being writers and performers on this classic children’s show. Annie wrote weekly blog posts about everything from postpartum depression to potty training. I did a short video every week. We had a blast doing films of Telly monitoring baby races to my little “Handyman” character going on treks through the snow to get formula.
Although the blog ended in 2012 – right when the girls were potty trained – it is still available on the Sesame Street website. Check it out at Sesamestreet.org/parents/blog.
