I believe that one of the final ingredients in any profession is when you can teach what you know. I have been lucky enough to be the main instructor for Sesame Street International where I travel to different countries, audition and train raw talent, and bring them up to Muppet-style performance level. With Sesame, you get the Muppet contract; with that, you get Muppet training. It has been one of the great joys of my career to see my students become brilliant puppeteers making a real difference in their own productions all around the world…and then going out and teaching others. Following is a list of the countries I have served: Mexico, Canada, Russia, Egypt, Israel/Palestine, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, France, Northern Ireland, Germany, China, Netherlands, Brazil, Arab Emirates, Afghanistan.

I have also been staff for the National Puppetry Conference at the O’Neill Theater Center since it’s beginning, and present keynote speeches and master classes at various festivals and Universities: Humboldt State University, Puppeteers of America, U of Maryland, UConn, Storrs, Stanford U, Puppet Power, Calgary, Temple U, Kent State, Rutgers, and the 2018 Science Fiction Writers of America NEBULA AWARDS.
